With so many products on the market it can become confusing to identify the best litter for your cat. We asked our cat lovers community why they prefer clumping cat litter.
Smells Better
“My 2 big cats are indoor only, so use a lot of litter. Clumping is best as it contains the smell and is more hygienic and easier to clean out between changes” – Fiona
“I have 6 cats and use your baby powder fragrance litter – it’s the best I have used to eliminate smell. Because it’s ultra-clumping it lasts ages. Less waste.” Alison
“We prefer clumping litter as Treacle Cat likes to kick the litter about when she’s finished and makes a right mess. With clumping, she doesn’t do this as much because the litter just absorbs the dirty part so she doesn’t have to cover it up. It absorbs the odour, so my apartment smells better and I don’t have to change the whole tray every time, just the affected part, so it’s kinder to the environment. Lastly, my kitties seem to prefer it! It’s a win-win!” – Lindsay
Easy to clean
“I have tried non-clumping and found it very time consuming. Clumping litter is quicker, more hygienic and as it’s a quick scoop-out, leaving no bits behind” – Ani
“Very easy to clean and it lasts a lot longer because it keeps the sand fresher. One of my cats is quite picky when it comes to clean litter so it is the perfect combination.” – Patricia
Great Value
“Since first using clumping litter I’ve never looked back. It makes changing the litter tray easier as it is more cost effective.” – Lisa
Lasts Longer
“I use clumping litter as it lasts longer and, because you can remove the clumps of wee, there is less smell and it stays fresher. Instead of emptying the trays completely every 2-3 days we can leave them 5-10 days between full empties so it’s also more economical” – Ellie
Low dust
“I have four indoor cats and my mum, who cleans the litter up, has asthma and it makes it so much easier for her with less dust!” – Lauren
“Easy to remove and cleaner, less effort and the cats cannot spread it around the house.” – Terry
It’s what my cat’s prefer
“Easy to scoop, less tracking, smells good and more importantly my cat loves it!” – Christine
“It’s so much easier to clean up! Clumps can be removed and it lasts 2 weeks before I have to change all 4 trays. My 3 babies won’t use anything else!” Becci
“Clumping litter is great value and the only litter that our boy Finn is happy to use.” – Vesta
